FAQs

This particular verse does not mention any tirtha or geographic marker; it frames a dialogue moment where Brahmā speaks on behalf of key dharmic constituencies (devas, dvijas, and cows).

It emphasizes devotion through the ideal of the pativratā (steadfast fidelity and vow-keeping). While not explicitly Vaishnava bhakti, it highlights dharmic devotion as a spiritual virtue honored even by Brahmā.

The verse underscores respect for dharma-protecting groups—gods (cosmic order), dvijas (ritual/learning), and cows (nurturance)—and presents the pativratā as a morally authoritative figure worthy of direct address by Brahmā.
