The Five Great Sacrifices: Supremacy of Honoring Parents, Pativrata Dharma, Truthfulness, and Śrāddha

हरिउवाच । ज्ञायते कारणं तात सर्वेषां भूतभावनैः । अतिपुण्यात्सदाचाराद्यतस्त्वं विस्मयं गतः

hariuvāca | jñāyate kāraṇaṃ tāta sarveṣāṃ bhūtabhāvanaiḥ | atipuṇyātsadācārādyatastvaṃ vismayaṃ gataḥ

Hari bersabda: “Wahai yang dikasihi, sebabnya diketahui oleh para pemelihara segala makhluk. Kerana kebajikanmu yang besar serta sadācāra (akhlak benar) itulah engkau jatuh ke dalam kehairanan.”
