Narasiṃha’s Greatness and the Slaying of Hiraṇyakaśipu

Boon, Portents, and Cosmic Restoration

लब्धमात्रे वरे सोथ प्रजास्सर्वा अबाधत । हिरण्यकशिपुर्दैत्यो वरदानेन गर्वितः

labdhamātre vare sotha prajāssarvā abādhata | hiraṇyakaśipurdaityo varadānena garvitaḥ

Sebaik sahaja memperoleh anugerah itu, dia pun mula menindas seluruh rakyat; daitya Hiraṇyakaśipu membusung oleh kesombongan kerana kurnia tersebut.
