Pulastya berkata: “Pada zaman dahulu, Kaśyapa telah menyatakan bahawa Diti, ibu yang mulia bagi para Daitya, wahai Dewi, akan melahirkan seorang putera yang anggota tubuhnya terbina daripada sari vajra, keras laksana intan.”
