Topic-based Title
तस्मिंस्तूष्णीं स्थिते दैत्ये प्रोवाचेदं पितामहः । ब्रह्मोवाच । तपस्त्वं कुरु मापन्नः सोस्मच्छासनसंस्थितः
tasmiṃstūṣṇīṃ sthite daitye provācedaṃ pitāmahaḥ | brahmovāca | tapastvaṃ kuru māpannaḥ sosmacchāsanasaṃsthitaḥ
Ketika daitya itu berdiri diam, Pitāmaha pun bersabda demikian. Brahmā berkata: “Wahai Daitya, lakukan tapa; jangan berputus asa. Tetaplah teguh di bawah perintah-Ku.”
Brahmā (Pitāmaha)
Concept: Perform tapas with steadiness; despair is a spiritual obstacle; alignment with rightful instruction makes austerity fruitful.
Application: When discouraged, return to structured practice under a trusted guide; treat despair as a vighna to be observed and released; keep vows within ethical boundaries.

It teaches that austerity (tapas) and disciplined obedience to divine order are the proper response to uncertainty or fear, rather than despair.
Brahmā (Pitāmaha, the Grandfather) is speaking to a Daitya (demon) who has fallen silent.
The verse emphasizes steadiness: do one’s prescribed discipline, avoid despondency, and align actions with rightful authority and cosmic order.
