FAQs

The verse describes highly auspicious, richly adorned cows—milk-giving, gentle, accompanied by calves—suggesting an idealized form of cattle offered or honored in a ritual or charitable context.

Such embellishments function as markers of ritual auspiciousness and exceptional value, emphasizing the excellence of the offering (or the honored cattle) rather than ordinary livestock.

The implied lesson is the praise of generous, high-quality giving and reverent ritual conduct—offering what is valuable and pure, not what is leftover or inferior.
