भीष्म उवाच । सौभाग्यारोग्यफलदममित्रक्षयकारकम् । भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदं यच्च तन्मे ब्रूहि महामते
bhīṣma uvāca | saubhāgyārogyaphaladamamitrakṣayakārakam | bhuktimuktipradaṃ yacca tanme brūhi mahāmate
Bhīṣma berkata: Wahai mahāmuni, jelaskan kepadaku amalan yang mengurniakan hasil tuah dan kesihatan, memusnahkan musuh, serta menganugerahkan kedua-duanya—kenikmatan dunia (bhoga) dan mokṣa (pembebasan).
