ततो जातश्चतुर्बाहुः साक्षसूत्रकमंडलुः । अगस्त्य इति शांतात्मा बभूव ऋषिसत्तमः
tato jātaścaturbāhuḥ sākṣasūtrakamaṃḍaluḥ | agastya iti śāṃtātmā babhūva ṛṣisattamaḥ
Kemudian lahirlah seorang yang berlengan empat, memakai yajñopavīta (benang suci) serta membawa kamaṇḍalu. Dengan jiwa yang tenang, beliau menjadi resi terunggul, masyhur dengan nama Agastya.
