Concept: Even exalted beings can be deluded; fascination is not proof of truth—discernment is required beyond sensory charm.

Application: Treat attraction and social glamour as potentially mind-clouding; pause before acting, return to mantra/ethical commitments, and seek wise counsel when emotionally ‘spellbound.’

FAQs

Mohinī here is described as a woman embodying delusive enchantment—so powerful that even beings across the three worlds can be bewitched by her.

The verse emphasizes the potency of moha (delusion): even divine beings can become confused and captivated when confronted with powerful illusion.

It cautions that status or power does not guarantee clarity; vigilance, discernment, and self-mastery are needed to avoid being overwhelmed by fascination and desire.
