पुलस्त्य उवाच । सगर्वं तु वचस्तेषां श्रुत्वा देवो जनार्दनः । शक्रेण सहितः शंभुमिदमाह महायशाः

pulastya uvāca | sagarvaṃ tu vacasteṣāṃ śrutvā devo janārdanaḥ | śakreṇa sahitaḥ śaṃbhumidamāha mahāyaśāḥ

Pulastya berkata: Setelah mendengar kata-kata mereka yang angkuh, Janārdana yang ilahi, masyhur dan mulia, bersama Śakra (Indra), berkata kepada Śambhu (Śiva) seperti berikut.
