Brahmā’s Puṣkara Sacrifice and the Manifestation of Sarasvatī

with Tīrtha-Merit Teachings

उपासते महात्मानं सहोंकारं पितामहं । तपश्च क्रतवश्चैव संकल्पः प्राण एव च

upāsate mahātmānaṃ sahoṃkāraṃ pitāmahaṃ | tapaśca kratavaścaiva saṃkalpaḥ prāṇa eva ca

Mereka bersembah kepada Pitāmaha (Brahmā) yang berjiwa agung, bersama suku kata suci Oṃ; dan juga kepada tapa, kratu (ritus korban), saṅkalpa (tekad suci), serta prāṇa, nafas kehidupan.
