विनाग्निना द्विजेनेह गार्हस्थ्यन्न तु लभ्यते । भीष्म उवाच । योऽसौ कपालादुत्पन्नो नरो नाम धनुर्द्धरः

vināgninā dvijeneha gārhasthyanna tu labhyate | bhīṣma uvāca | yo'sau kapālādutpanno naro nāma dhanurddharaḥ

Di dunia ini, tanpa api suci (Agni), seorang dwija tidak dapat memperoleh makanan dan nafkah yang layak bagi dharma grihastha. Bhīṣma berkata: “Pemanah bernama Nara itu, yang lahir daripada sebuah tengkorak…”
