B
Bhavānī (Pārvatī)

FAQs

It describes prāṇāyāma (restraining the breath) combined with inward-focused meditation (dhyāna) on Bhavānī, leading to exclusive absorption where nothing else is perceived.

Bhavānī is a name of the Goddess Pārvatī (Śakti), invoked here as the object of remembrance and meditative absorption.

It points to single-pointed concentration and absorption (a samādhi-like state), where awareness is gathered inward and distractions or external objects no longer appear to the meditator.
