FAQs

It describes mūrti-pūjā (icon worship) offered with traditional upacāras—fragrance, flowers, incense, lamps, garments, and fruits—performed with bhakti-bhāva (devotional feeling) toward Rādhā.

The verse highlights that the defining element of worship is bhakti-bhāva—inner devotion—while external offerings (flowers, lamps, fruits, etc.) become meaningful as expressions of that devotion.

It teaches reverence and sincerity in worship: offer what one can (simple or elaborate), but ensure the offering is grounded in devotion, attentiveness, and respect for the deity being worshipped.
