अष्टम्येकादशीभूता धर्मकामार्थवांच्छुभिः । वर्जयित्वा प्रयत्नेन सप्तमीसंयुताष्टमी
aṣṭamyekādaśībhūtā dharmakāmārthavāṃcchubhiḥ | varjayitvā prayatnena saptamīsaṃyutāṣṭamī
Bagi mereka yang mengingini dharma, kāma dan artha, apabila Aṣṭamī bertemu dengan Ekādaśī, hendaklah dengan bersungguh-sungguh menjauhi Aṣṭamī yang bersambung dengan Saptamī.
