The Greatness of Hari’s Janmāṣṭamī (Jayantī) Vow
अष्टमी बुधवारे च सोमे चैव द्विजोत्तम । रोहिणीऋक्षसंयुक्ता कुलकोटिविमुक्तिदा
aṣṭamī budhavāre ca some caiva dvijottama | rohiṇīṛkṣasaṃyuktā kulakoṭivimuktidā
Wahai yang terbaik di antara dvija, apabila tithi Aṣṭamī jatuh pada hari Rabu atau Isnin dan bersatu dengan nakṣatra Rohiṇī, maka ia menjadi pemberi pembebasan bagi berjuta-juta garis keturunan.
