Karmic Causality, Fate, and the Supremacy of Food-Charity

within Guru-tīrtha Glorification

स्वकृतान्येव भुंजंति दुःखानि च सुखानि च । हेतुतः कारणैर्वापि सोहं कारेण बाध्यते

svakṛtānyeva bhuṃjaṃti duḥkhāni ca sukhāni ca | hetutaḥ kāraṇairvāpi sohaṃ kāreṇa bādhyate

Makhluk hanya menanggung apa yang mereka lakukan sendiri—baik derita mahupun bahagia. Sama ada kerana niat atau sebab-sebab lain, aku juga terikat oleh daya perbuatan (karma).
