The Aśūnyaśayana Vow: Expiation, Viṣṇu’s Theophany, and Liberation for Divyā Devī

इतो गत्वा व्रतं वत्स दिव्यां देवीं प्रबोधय । अशून्यशयनं नाम व्रतराजं वदस्व ताम्

ito gatvā vrataṃ vatsa divyāṃ devīṃ prabodhaya | aśūnyaśayanaṃ nāma vratarājaṃ vadasva tām

Pergilah dari sini, wahai anakku, dan bangunkan Dewi yang mulia untuk melaksanakan vrata. Katakan kepadanya tentang raja segala vrata bernama ‘Aśūnyaśayana’—vrata untuk tidak tidur bersendirian.
