FAQs

It depicts an ideal, radiant city whose spires seem to touch the sky and whose structures are adorned with celestial gold and blazing finials (kalaśas).

Here “kalaśa” refers to the shining finials crowning towers or temple domes—architectural symbols of auspiciousness and sanctity.

The verse encourages reverence for sacred spaces: outer splendor (order, purity, beauty) is presented as reflecting inner sanctity and devotion.
