The Yayāti Episode: Succession and Royal Dharma Instructions to Pūru

एवं चिंतयसे दुःखं यथान्यः प्राकृतो जनः । महाभयाद्यथाभीतो मोहगर्ते गतो यथा

evaṃ ciṃtayase duḥkhaṃ yathānyaḥ prākṛto janaḥ | mahābhayādyathābhīto mohagarte gato yathā

Tuanku merenung duka demikian, seperti insan biasa yang terikat dunia; seperti yang digentarkan oleh mahābhaya, seolah-olah terjatuh ke dalam jurang moha.
