Concept: Viveka is portrayed with near-divine attributes: all-seeing, all-pervading, devoted to highest truth, and the destroyer of doubt—yet tender toward knowledge.

Application: Treat doubt as a signal to seek śāstra, guru, and sādhus; cultivate steady study and reflection so decisions arise from truth rather than anxiety.

FAQs

The verse praises the Supreme Lord (Īśvara/Bhagavān) as omniscient and omnipresent—one who pervades all and abides in the highest truth.

It means the divine principle dispels uncertainty through right understanding—removing confusion that obstructs dharma, devotion, and clear knowledge.

It presents knowledge as something the Lord favors and nurtures; thus, doubts are not merely punished but dissolved by fostering insight and truthful discernment.
