Pitṛmātṛtīrtha Greatness & the Discourse on Embodiment: Karma, Birth, Impurity, and Dispassion

स्वमूर्तिः क्षालिता तीर्थे न शुद्धिमधिगच्छति । अंतर्भावप्रदुष्टस्य विशतोपि हुताशनम्

svamūrtiḥ kṣālitā tīrthe na śuddhimadhigacchati | aṃtarbhāvapraduṣṭasya viśatopi hutāśanam

Walaupun seseorang membasuh tubuhnya di tīrtha, dia tidak mencapai kesucian; kerana orang yang batinnya tercemar tetap tidak suci, sekalipun masuk ke dalam api.
