दृष्ट्वा शूकरपौरुषं यमतुलं मेने पतिर्वावराड्देवारिं मनसा विचिन्त्य सहसा वाराहरूपेण वै । संप्रेक्ष्यैव महाबलं बहुतरं युक्तं त्वरेर्वारणं सैन्यं कोलविनाशनाय सहसा संगृह्य संगृह्यताम्

dṛṣṭvā śūkarapauruṣaṃ yamatulaṃ mene patirvāvarāḍdevāriṃ manasā vicintya sahasā vārāharūpeṇa vai | saṃprekṣyaiva mahābalaṃ bahutaraṃ yuktaṃ tvarervāraṇaṃ sainyaṃ kolavināśanāya sahasā saṃgṛhya saṃgṛhyatām

Melihat keperkasaan babi hutan itu yang tiada bandingan, laksana Yama, penguasa Vāvarāḍ—musuh para dewa—segera berfikir dalam hati lalu benar-benar mengambil rupa Varāha. Melihat bala musuh amat besar dan kuat, dia segera memerintah: “Himpunkan angkatan—himpunkan segera—untuk membinasakan si babi hutan itu!”
