प्रसंगाद्दर्शनात्स्पर्शान्नात्र कार्या विचारणा । अत्रार्थे श्रूयते विप्रा इतिहासोऽघनाशनः

prasaṃgāddarśanātsparśānnātra kāryā vicāraṇā | atrārthe śrūyate viprā itihāso'ghanāśanaḥ

Dengan sekadar bersampingan, dengan melihat, dan dengan sentuhan—di sini tiada perlu pertimbangan lagi. Dalam hal ini juga, wahai para brāhmaṇa, didengari sebuah itihāsa purba yang memusnahkan dosa.
