एवमुक्त्वा जगामाशु सोमशर्मा द्विजोत्तमः । वसिष्ठं सर्ववेत्तारं दिव्यं तं तपतां वरम्

evamuktvā jagāmāśu somaśarmā dvijottamaḥ | vasiṣṭhaṃ sarvavettāraṃ divyaṃ taṃ tapatāṃ varam

Setelah berkata demikian, Somaśarmā—yang terbaik antara para brāhmaṇa—segera pergi kepada Vasiṣṭha, yang maha mengetahui, resi yang bersifat ilahi, dan yang terunggul dalam kalangan para pertapa.
