Narrative of Sumanā: The Quest for a Worthy Son and the Karmic Roots of Poverty

पूर्वजन्मकृतं पुण्यं यत्त्वया परिपालितम् । तत्सर्वं हि प्रवक्ष्यामि श्रूयतामद्भुतं पुनः

pūrvajanmakṛtaṃ puṇyaṃ yattvayā paripālitam | tatsarvaṃ hi pravakṣyāmi śrūyatāmadbhutaṃ punaḥ

Pahala kebajikan (puṇya) yang engkau peroleh dalam kelahiran terdahulu—dan yang engkau pelihara—semuanya akan aku nyatakan dengan sesungguhnya; dengarkanlah lagi kisah yang menakjubkan ini.
