दृष्ट्वा मतिर्न यस्य स्यात्स सत्यः परिकीर्तितः । दानमेव प्रवक्ष्यामि येन जीवंति मानवाः

dṛṣṭvā matirna yasya syātsa satyaḥ parikīrtitaḥ | dānameva pravakṣyāmi yena jīvaṃti mānavāḥ

Sesiapa yang kefahamannya tidak goyah setelah melihat (kebenaran), dialah dipuji sebagai orang yang benar. Kini akan aku jelaskan tentang dana (sedekah) semata-mata, yang dengannya manusia dapat hidup.
