तादृशोऽस्मि पुनर्जातः शुकरूपो महीतले । मरणे यादृशो भावः प्राणिनां परिजायते

tādṛśo'smi punarjātaḥ śukarūpo mahītale | maraṇe yādṛśo bhāvaḥ prāṇināṃ parijāyate

Demikianlah aku lahir kembali di bumi dalam rupa Śuka (burung nuri); kerana apa jua keadaan batin yang timbul pada saat kematian, menurut itulah kelahiran seterusnya terjadi.
