FAQs

A speaker promises to become the other person’s beloved wife and announces departure that very day toward a city named Kāmoda.

It is primarily narrative—expressing resolve, a marital promise, and a journey—rather than an explicit doctrinal teaching.

The Bhūmi-khaṇḍa frequently anchors stories in named locations; identifying Kāmoda helps map the Purana’s narrative geography and track the storyline’s movement.
