हृतो दैत्येन वीरेंद्रो निजपुण्येन शेषितः । बाल्यात्प्रभृति वीरेंद्रो वियुक्तः स्वजनेन वै

hṛto daityena vīreṃdro nijapuṇyena śeṣitaḥ | bālyātprabhṛti vīreṃdro viyuktaḥ svajanena vai

Indra yang perkasa telah dilarikan oleh seorang daitya, namun dia tetap dipelihara oleh baki pahala kebajikannya sendiri. Sejak kecil lagi, Indra yang gagah itu benar-benar terpisah daripada kaum keluarganya.
