FAQs

It indicates a teaching (upadeśa) intended to remove uncertainty and confusion by clarifying the subject’s essential nature, leading to firm understanding.

Instruction is presented as revealing the svarūpa (true nature) of the topic, culminating in comprehensive insight—“the vision of all knowledge” (sarvavijñānadarśanam).

Teachers should aim at clarity that resolves doubts, and students should listen attentively; true learning is framed as insight that integrates knowledge rather than mere accumulation of facts.
