This is a colophon verse marking the completion of the “Haridvāra Māhātmya” chapter; it frames the teaching as a sacred tīrtha-glorification (māhātmya) within an authoritative Purāṇic dialogue, reinforcing Haridvāra’s status as a spiritually potent pilgrimage site.
Indirectly: by closing a māhātmya on Haridvāra, it points devotees toward bhakti expressed through tīrtha-yātrā, holy bathing, remembrance of Hari, and reverence for sacred places—common Purāṇic supports for Viṣṇu-bhakti in the Uttara-bhāga’s pilgrimage teachings.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this colophon; it instead preserves textual organization (adhyāya identification, section placement, and dialogue attribution), which is practical for archival citation, ritual reading schedules (pārāyaṇa), and accurate manuscript referencing.
