Wahai Tuhan, dengan mandi ini kurniakanlah kepadaku hasil seperti yang telah dinyatakan. Setelah melafazkan mantra ini, hendaklah seseorang mandi sambil berpegang pada mauna, yakni diam suci.
Narrative instruction (traditional Narada Purana dialogue context: teaching voice attributed to Sage Narada conveying prescribed rite)
Vrata: Māgha-snāna (contextual continuation)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames sacred bathing as a result-bearing (phalada) act when performed with correct intention, mantra-recitation, and disciplined conduct such as mauna.
By addressing the Lord directly and seeking the promised fruit through a prescribed act, the verse models devotional dependence—ritual action offered with faith and reverence.
Ritual discipline and correct recitation are emphasized: proper mantra-utterance (linked to Śikṣā and Vyākaraṇa for sound/clarity) and observance of mauna as a rule of rite.
