Tīrtha-vidhi (Procedure for Holy Places) — Prayāgarāja-māhātmya
प्राप्तैरेव सदा तत्र कर्तव्यं पितृतर्पणम् । विलंबो नैव कर्तव्यो नैव विघ्नं समाचरेत् ॥ ४२ ॥
prāptaireva sadā tatra kartavyaṃ pitṛtarpaṇam | vilaṃbo naiva kartavyo naiva vighnaṃ samācaret || 42 ||
Di tempat itu juga, dengan apa sahaja yang diperoleh, hendaklah sentiasa dilakukan tarpaṇa—persembahan air kepada Pitṛ. Jangan berlengah sedikit pun, dan jangan pula menimbulkan atau membiarkan sebarang halangan.
