Description of the Origin of the Cosmic Egg (Brahmāṇḍa) and the Ocean as King of Tīrthas

तस्मिन्स्वयंभूः समभूल्लोकानां प्रपितामहः । तेन तप्त्वा तपस्तीव्रं पुंसोऽनुज्ञामवाप्य च ॥ ६४ ॥

tasminsvayaṃbhūḥ samabhūllokānāṃ prapitāmahaḥ | tena taptvā tapastīvraṃ puṃso'nujñāmavāpya ca || 64 ||

Daripada-Nya muncullah Svayambhū (Brahmā), moyang agung bagi segala dunia. Setelah menjalani tapa yang amat berat, baginda pun memperoleh perkenan Sang Purusha Tertinggi.
