Wahai wanita yang mulia, liṅga ini telah didirikan oleh Śukra, putera Bhṛgu. Ia dikenali dengan nama “Śukreśvara”, dan disembah oleh semua Siddha serta para dewa.
Narada (narration within a tirtha-mahatmya dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It identifies a specific sacred liṅga—Śukreśvara—as one established by Śukra and revered by Siddhas and Devas, marking it as a highly potent tirtha-object of worship with exceptional sanctity.
By emphasizing that even perfected beings and gods worship this liṅga, the verse models bhakti through reverential worship (arcana) and encourages devotees to approach Śiva at a consecrated tirtha with faith.
The verse implicitly points to ritual practice—liṅga-pratiṣṭhā (installation) and arcana (worship)—which aligns with Kalpa (Vedāṅga dealing with ritual procedure) as applied in tirtha worship.
