The Procedure for Offering Piṇḍa (Funerary Rice-balls) — Gayā-māhātmya
स्नात्वा तेषु विधानेन कुर्याच्छ्राद्धं पृथक् पृथक् । दिबाकर करोमीह स्नानं दक्षिणमानसे ॥ ७८ ॥
snātvā teṣu vidhānena kuryācchrāddhaṃ pṛthak pṛthak | dibākara karomīha snānaṃ dakṣiṇamānase || 78 ||
Setelah mandi di tempat-tempat suci itu menurut tata cara yang ditetapkan, hendaklah dilakukan persembahan śrāddha secara berasingan di setiap tempat. “Wahai Divākara (Surya), di sini aku melaksanakan mandi suci, dengan minda tertuju ke arah selatan.”
