Suta (narrating the episode within the Uttara-Bhaga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It highlights how krodha (wrath) and the force of a spoken brahminic utterance can produce immediate karmic results, stressing restraint and dharmic speech as spiritually decisive.
By showing the destructiveness of uncontrolled anger, the verse indirectly supports bhakti’s emphasis on self-restraint, humility, and surrender to the Lord’s higher order rather than acting from passion.
It underscores the potency of vāṅ-mātra (authoritative speech) tied to dharma—aligned with Śikṣā and Vyākaraṇa traditions that treat correct utterance and disciplined speech as spiritually consequential.
