Sembah sujud kepada-Mu yang bertangan laksana teratai; sembah sujud kepada-Mu yang bermata teratai. Berulang-ulang aku menunduk kepada Keśava, pelindung dan pemelihara Kamalā (Lakṣmī).
Narada (as a devotional stotra within the Uttara-Bhaga narrative)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It is a concentrated act of śaraṇāgati (taking refuge) through praise of Viṣṇu’s auspicious form—lotus hands and lotus eyes—affirming Him as the divine sustainer, which strengthens devotion and purifies the mind in a Tīrtha-Māhātmya setting.
Bhakti is expressed here as repeated namaskāra (namo namaḥ) and loving remembrance of Viṣṇu’s guṇas and rūpa; the verse models simple, direct worship through nāma and stuti rather than complex argument.
Primarily Śikṣā (correct recitation) and Vyākaraṇa in practice: the verse is meant for precise chanting of a stotra/mantra-like praise (namo namaḥ), emphasizing sound-discipline and devotional repetition rather than a technical ritual procedure.
