The Account of Kāṣṭhīlā (Kāṣṭhīlā-ākhyāna) within the Mohinī Narrative

न्यवसं कान्यकुब्जे तु सुसमृद्धा सुदर्पिता । जनन्या बंधुवर्गस्य पितुरिष्टतमा ह्यहम् ॥ ५२ ॥

nyavasaṃ kānyakubje tu susamṛddhā sudarpitā | jananyā baṃdhuvargasya pituriṣṭatamā hyaham || 52 ||

Aku tinggal di Kānyakubja, sangat makmur namun kerana kesombongan aku menjadi angkuh. Aku paling dikasihi ayahku, dan di pihak ibuku aku juga yang paling disayangi oleh seluruh kaum kerabat.
