The Greatness of Kārtika
संवत्सरव्रतानां हि समाप्तिः कार्तिकं स्मृता । विवाहा यत्र दृश्यंते विष्णोर्नाभिसरोरुहे ॥ ६३ ॥
saṃvatsaravratānāṃ hi samāptiḥ kārtikaṃ smṛtā | vivāhā yatra dṛśyaṃte viṣṇornābhisaroruhe || 63 ||
Sesungguhnya Kārtika dikenang sebagai bulan penutup bagi vrata setahun; kerana pada saat/di tempat itu terlihat perkahwinan-perkahwinan ilahi di atas teratai yang tumbuh dari pusat Viṣṇu.
