Viṣṇor Māhātmya
यद् गृहे नास्ति देवर्षे शालग्रामशिलार्चनम् । श्मशानसदृशं विद्यात्तद् गृहं शुभवर्जितम् ॥ ६९ ॥
yad gṛhe nāsti devarṣe śālagrāmaśilārcanam | śmaśānasadṛśaṃ vidyāttad gṛhaṃ śubhavarjitam || 69 ||
Wahai resi ilahi, rumah yang tidak mempunyai pemujaan kepada Śālagrāma-śilā hendaklah diketahui seperti tanah pembakaran mayat; rumah itu kosong daripada keberkatan dan auspisius.
