Jñāna-pradarśanam
पुनश्च कोऽहंमित्युक्तं वेदमाले त्वया तु यत् । मम जात्यादिशून्यस्य कथं नाम करोम्यहम् ॥ ६३ ॥
punaśca ko'haṃmityuktaṃ vedamāle tvayā tu yat | mama jātyādiśūnyasya kathaṃ nāma karomyaham || 63 ||
Dan sekali lagi, wahai Vedamālā, untaian Veda, engkau bertanya: “Siapakah aku?” Namun kerana aku bebas daripada kasta dan seumpamanya, bagaimana mungkin aku menamakan diriku sendiri?

It points to the Atman as beyond social markers like caste, lineage, and external identifiers—suggesting that ultimate identity cannot be captured by conventional naming.
By loosening attachment to ego-based identity (name, status, birth), the devotee becomes fit for single-pointed devotion where the self is offered to the Lord without pride or social comparison.
It indirectly contrasts external designation (nāma) and social classification—topics treated in Vyākaraṇa and Dharma discourse—with the higher Vedāntic inquiry into the Self that transcends such labels.
