Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa
दिनद्वये ब्रह्महत्याव्रतं कुर्याद्यथाविधि । एकस्मिन्नेव दिवसे बहुवारं त्रिवार्षिकम् ॥ ६६ ॥
dinadvaye brahmahatyāvrataṃ kuryādyathāvidhi | ekasminneva divase bahuvāraṃ trivārṣikam || 66 ||
Dia harus melakukan sumpah penebusan dosa untuk brahmahatyā (dosa membunuh seorang brāhmaṇa) mengikut cara yang ditetapkan selama dua hari; dan, dalam satu hari sahaja, dia harus mengulangi berkali-kali upacara yang sebaliknya perlu dipatuhi selama tiga tahun.
