Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa

अध्ययनाध्यापनादून्वर्जयेत्संस्मरेद्धरिम् । ब्रह्मचारी भवेन्नित्यं गंधमाल्यादि वर्जयेत् ॥ १० ॥

adhyayanādhyāpanādūnvarjayetsaṃsmareddharim | brahmacārī bhavennityaṃ gaṃdhamālyādi varjayet || 10 ||

Hendaklah ia menjauhi segala yang mengurangi tumpuan pada belajar dan mengajar, serta sentiasa mengingati Hari. Hendaklah ia tetap hidup sebagai brahmacārin, dan menjauhi minyak wangi, kalungan bunga, serta perhiasan inderawi seumpamanya.
