Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama
अमृतापिधानमसि भोज्यान्तेऽपः सकृत्पिबेत् । प्राणाद्या आहुतीर्दत्त्वाचम्य भोजनमाचरेत् ॥ ८२ ॥
amṛtāpidhānamasi bhojyānte'paḥ sakṛtpibet | prāṇādyā āhutīrdattvācamya bhojanamācaret || 82 ||
Dengan melafazkan: “Engkau ialah penutup amṛta,” pada akhir jamuan hendaklah seseorang meneguk air sekali. Sesudah itu, persembahkan āhuti bermula dengan (mantra) Prāṇa, lalu lakukan ācamana, dan sempurnakan tata upacara makan dengan benar.

It sacralizes eating as a disciplined rite: the meal is sealed with mantra, purified by ācamana, and harmonized through prāṇāhuti—linking nourishment to prāṇa and inner purity.
By treating even ordinary acts like eating as offerings and mantra-infused discipline, it supports bhakti through constant remembrance and reverent conduct rather than mere ritualism.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) and śikṣā/mantra-prayoga are implied: correct sequencing—mantra utterance, single sip, prāṇa-related offerings, then ācamana—defines proper daily ācāra.
