Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama
खादितार्द्धं पुनः खादेन्मोदकांश्च फलानि च । प्रत्यक्षं लवणं चैव गोमांसशीति गद्यते ॥ ७९ ॥
khāditārddhaṃ punaḥ khādenmodakāṃśca phalāni ca | pratyakṣaṃ lavaṇaṃ caiva gomāṃsaśīti gadyate || 79 ||
Janganlah seseorang memakan semula makanan yang sudah dimakan separuh; dan jangan pula mengambil modaka (bebola manisan) serta buah-buahan dengan cara yang menyalahi aturan. Begitu juga memakan garam secara langsung (tanpa iringan) dicela; perbuatan demikian disebut ‘seperti memakan daging lembu’.
