Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 67

Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama

नोपास्ते यो द्विजः संध्यां धूर्तबुद्धिरनापदि । पाषंडः स हि विज्ञेयः सर्वधर्मबहिष्कृतः ॥ ६७ ॥

nopāste yo dvijaḥ saṃdhyāṃ dhūrtabuddhiranāpadi | pāṣaṃḍaḥ sa hi vijñeyaḥ sarvadharmabahiṣkṛtaḥ || 67 ||

Sesiapa daripada golongan dwija yang, dengan akal yang menipu dan tanpa sebarang halangan yang benar, tidak melakukan pemujaan Sandhyā, maka dia harus diketahui sebagai pāṣaṇḍa (sesat), tersisih daripada segala amalan dharma.
