Dvādaśī-vrata: Month-by-month Viṣṇu Worship and the Year-End Udyāpana
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: Dvadashi-vrata (Padmanabha-focused)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links worship (pūjā) with completion through dāna and dakṣiṇā—showing that devotion is perfected by honoring sacred service and sharing auspicious offerings like honey.
Bhakti here is practical: repeat worship with care and humility, and seal the rite by giving dakṣiṇā to a brāhmaṇa—turning personal devotion into reverent, dharmic action.
Ritual praxis is emphasized: correct sequencing of a night observance and the rule of dakṣiṇā, including a measured quantity (kuḍava), reflecting procedural precision akin to Kalpa (ritual discipline).
