Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links devotion (bhakti) with disciplined daily conduct: worship at the three daily junctures sustains remembrance of the Divine, and proper dawn-rising reinforces dharma through orderly performance of one’s prescribed duties.
Bhakti here is not occasional; it is structured as regular trikāla worship, honoring the Lord together with Mahālakṣmī, so devotion becomes continuous through the rhythm of the day.
Ritual timing and rule-based practice are emphasized—performing worship at prescribed times (linked to sandhyā divisions) and doing karma “yathocitam,” i.e., according to injunctions and proper procedure.
